Do you have questions? Here you’ll find the most common ones:
Can the surface be mixed with sand?
No, as it would lose some of its key advantages such as low dust, reduced watering, and time savings in maintenance.
What kind of base is required?
A sub-base as outlined in our specifications.
What equipment is needed for maintenance?
A roller, or a combination of levelling (dragging) and rolling.
Who carries out the installation?
The customer is responsible for the sub-base and the installation of the fibra. This saves both time and costs.
How does delivery work?
The goods are delivered by truck. The customer must provide suitable equipment to unload the pallets. Unloading is organized by the customer.
Does the surface need to be watered?
Watering is not mandatory, and therefore no irrigation system is required.
Does the dark material heat up in summer?
Yes, but not excessively. Working times should be adjusted accordingly.
Is there a risk of the material being blown away by wind?
No, under normal conditions our fibra is wind-resistant and does not get blown away, even in strong winds.
Does the AWF material have an Enviornmental certification?
Yes, the certificate is available upon request.
